he initial project was a call for a music recording studio. After meeting with several modernist architects our clients were presented a few renditions of a mini version of their existing custom Alexander home. Not wanting to repeat the same lines but creating something complimentary Zenoriginals was called in to brainstorm.
After several meetings with the clients we came up with a Raymond Loewy inspired core ten corrugated steel wrapped pod shaped like a guitar pick.
We choose the far corner of the property and had mature palm trees craned in to give the illusion that the newly built studio had been there from the start.
