O
nce owned by the creator of the beloved “Mr. Magoo” cartoon character, this architectural 1959 Buff and Hensman was lovingly restored from the ground up while maintaining it’s integrity.
Zenoriginals Design assembled a team and took the house down to the studs to uncover and rediscover the original intention of the architects. Proceeding carefully we re-established the indoor outdoor relationship between the house and it’s Hollywood Hills surroundings while carefully crafting a space plan more conducive to modern day living.
We thoughtfully chose green building materials such as, sustainably harvested bamboo, denim wall insulation, recycled terrazzo and cork floors, bio degradable wool carpet with hemp backing, recycled content lighting fixtures and non toxic soy based paints.
The house was then staged for sale by Zenoriginals Design.
